Framework Use & Licensing
Framework Use & Licensing
This page explains how the THINK LUCID framework and the LUCID method may be referenced, discussed, applied internally, or licensed for commercial use.
Effective Date: March 2026
1. Purpose of This Page
THINK LUCID is publicly presented as a framework for disciplined AI usage. Within it, LUCID is the method.
This page exists to distinguish between:
- public understanding of the framework
- internal non-commercial use
- restricted commercial use
- controlled implementation and licensing
The goal is to reduce ambiguity about what is freely discussable, what may be applied internally, and what requires prior written authorization.
2. Publicly Permitted Use
The following activities are generally permitted without a separate commercial license, provided they are non-commercial in nature and do not misrepresent authorization:
- reading, discussing, and referencing the public framework
- citing THINK LUCID in articles, presentations, or academic discussion
- using the public language of the framework for internal reflection or non-commercial learning
- internal institutional discussion of the framework with appropriate attribution
Publicly permitted use does not include any right to represent oneself as an authorized provider, trainer, auditor, licensor, or commercial implementer of THINK LUCID.
3. Internal Educational and Organizational Use
Schools, educators, managers, and internal corporate teams may reference the public framework for internal educational or organizational purposes, provided that:
- proper attribution to THINK LUCID is maintained
- the use remains internal and non-commercial
- no claim of official certification, endorsement, or authorization is made
- no proprietary tools, templates, measurement systems, or implementation materials are copied or reproduced without permission
Internal use of the public framework does not automatically include access to controlled audit formats, guided pilot structures, proprietary task sets, or official benchmark environments.
4. Restricted Commercial Use
The following uses are restricted and require prior written authorization, license, or formal agreement:
- offering paid training, workshops, seminars, or consulting under the THINK LUCID or LUCID name
- advertising services as LUCID-based, THINK LUCID-based, certified, official, or equivalent
- building commercial software, assessments, dashboards, or products derived from the framework or method and marketing them as authorized or official
- creating paid certification programs, commercial implementation packages, or monetized institutional services based on the framework
- using proprietary implementation materials, audit flows, benchmark structures, or controlled tool environments for commercial delivery
5. Controlled Implementation Materials
Some components associated with THINK LUCID are not merely public ideas. They may include controlled implementation materials such as:
- structured audit formats
- guided pilot models
- measurement environments and observation tools
- custom assignments or benchmark task sets
- facilitation scripts, scoring approaches, and implementation templates
These materials are not made public merely by describing the framework on the website. Access to such materials is controlled separately and may require a written agreement.
6. No Implied Certification or Endorsement
Reading the site, referencing the framework, or applying some of its concepts does not create:
- certification
- accreditation
- official provider status
- authorized implementer status
- commercial affiliation with THINK LUCID or IDEA LAB Digital Solutions Inc.
No person or organization may imply such status without prior written authorization.
7. Trademark and Brand Use
THINK LUCID and related brand identifiers, where applicable, are protected and may not be used in a manner that implies endorsement, official status, or commercial affiliation without permission.
This includes use in:
- commercial course titles
- software branding
- consulting offers
- training brochures
- certification claims
- marketing materials or sales collateral
8. Licensing Requests
Organizations or individuals seeking to use THINK LUCID or the LUCID method in a restricted commercial context may submit a licensing or implementation inquiry.
Licensing decisions are discretionary and may depend on:
- intended use case
- scope and geography
- quality control considerations
- fit with the frameworkâs aims and implementation standards
- availability of authorized licensing capacity
9. Relationship to Separate Agreements
Where a specific written agreement, license, franchise, implementation contract, or pilot arrangement exists, that written agreement governs the approved use described there.
In the absence of such an agreement, the general restrictions and limitations on this page remain in effect.
10. Reservation of Rights
All rights not expressly granted on this page are reserved.
THINK LUCID and its authorized implementation partners may revise, suspend, clarify, or expand licensing conditions at their discretion, subject to applicable written agreements already in force.
